The chalet is located on the southern slope of Kubínská Hole, in the middle of the nature of Oravská Magura. It stands directly on the slope at the ski slope Skipark Kubinska Hola, at an altitude of 1100 meters. It is 12 km from Dolný Kubín.

The cottage can be reached by car on a maintained forest road, but in winter it is necessary to use snow chains. The cottage is also suitable for school trips, ski training, school trips, family recreation or training. The cottage has a restaurant and bar.

The accommodation part of the cottage has been renovated. There are 17 rooms with a total capacity of 65 beds. Each room has its own bathroom. Most of the rooms are triple and quadruple but there is also a double and a six-bed room and one apartment for up to 8 people.

Free parking is available at the cottage.
