Spišská Nová Ves, museums and technical monuments

It informs the visitors about the character of the Tatra nature, about its protection and about the history of the Tatras being made accessible to the public. The SENTINEL Adventure Center was created by the reconstruction of the Mining Museum in Rožňava in 2015-2017. Sentinel includes the following objects: Gemer Mining and Metallurgy Exposition, Steam Time at the Mining Museum, Mining Workplaces, Nature Exposition of the Slovak Karst and Adjacent Areas, and a courtyard where mining mechanisms and mobile mining railways are located. Andrássy's gallery in Krásnohorské Podhradie was built in 1908-1909 by Dionýz Andrássy, the then owner of the Krásnohorský estate. We invite you to a tour of the water mill museum, which belonged to the Andrássy family from Krásná Hôrka with the original original equipment, where you will not only learn, but also see how flour was sometimes made. The water mill is located in the village of Kováčová near the town of Rožňava, in the Košice Region in eastern Slovakia.
