The church and monastery buildings complex in Levoča was built between 1748 -1755 on the site of the oldest Levoča church, which was demolished in 1747 after a fire. It is one of the few preserved Baroque churches in Spiš region. Set of monastic buildings has a U-shaped footprint. The church has one nave; in the backside there is a brick Emporia with an organ. Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin on Marianska hora in Levoca is one of the oldest places of pilgrimage in eastern Slovakia. The pilgrimage takes place here every year on July 2. The Kláštorská gorge was created by a stream that springs near the Kláštorisko and flows into the Hornád river. It was opened for tourists in 1958, when a bridge was built over the Hornád gap, leading to the mouth of the gorge.
