Sport and recreation Kavečany resort is located 6 km from the centre of Kosice, at an altitude of 420-600 meters above sea level. The ski season lasts from mid-December until the end of March. The Košice children's single-track historical railway with a length of 4.2 km located in the Čermeľ Valley near Košice.
