Smižany lies in the altitude of 482 above sea level in Hornád hollow basin, in the place, where the river Hornád pours from a narrow river-basin bordered by cliffs to a fertile flatland. Nearby Smižany are a lot of historical and tourist locations. Smižany offer to visitors wide possibilities for accommodation, gastronomic services, recreation as well as relax.
