Hotels offer visitors services in the range of 1 (*) - 5 stars (*****).

All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom and toilet. They all have central heating and air-conditioning, a colour TV with cable or satellite channels, a radio, telephone, and a safe for valuables belonging to the guest. The hotel provides almost all kinds of hotel services, services of a personal character, and special services for business travellers and business services.

The hotel sells not only toiletries but postcards and promotional material and also offers other services.

Each room that does not have en-suite facilities has a wash basin with hot and cold running water. On every floor there is a bathroom and separate toilets for men and women.

Pensions
Pension is a simple hotel-type accommodation possibility with min 5 rooms and max. 4 beds in a room. Visitors are served breakfast, possibly even full board and basic services.

*** Offers accommodation in double rooms max. Every room has private facilities (bathroom and toilet or hygiene unit). Pension has a restaurant and a centre with daytime running.
** Offer accommodation in rooms with a maximum of three fixed beds (an extra bed can be provided). At least 30% of rooms have their own washing facilities (WC and shower). Each room without washing facilities has a wash basin with hot and cold running water. The pension offers basic services (information, timetables, ironing services, medical care etc). Pension has a centre with daytime running.

Hostels:
Hostels have more beds per room and have shared washing facilities and toilets. They are mainly designed for short-term stays for larger groups (especially of young people etc.) The services offered are of one (*) and two (**) star quality.
