Pension Tatra is located directly in the High Tatras National Park forest in the altitude of 950 meters in Tatranska Strba.
Recently completely reconstructed guesthouse offers 32 beds in 15 double/twin rooms (in some rooms, we can provide 3rd bed) in two houses one next to the other. Each room has its own bathroom with shower (no bathtubs).
A meadow with fireplace located between houses, is an attractive place for groups and families with children. Guest room with traditional oven, quiet place in the forest and environment round the house ensure you ideal relax. The staff speaking English, German, Spanish and Italian and is at your disposal.
There are cross-country-ski loops in winter and the nearest skiing resort is only 7 km far. In summer, the houses are ideal starting point for trekking/hiking and mountain biking.
Situated in Tatranska Strba, all the interesting Slovak mountain groups as High, Low, Western Tatras as well as Slovak Paradise are good accessible. 8 minutes of walking there is a funicular stop that brings you in few minutes to the skiing and cross-country-skiing centre Strbske Pleso (1350 m). 20 minutes of walking there is railway station Strba that links Tatranska Strba with Bratislava. Access to the houses is simple, and parking is available for approx. 8-10 cars.
