Tourist guesthouse Veternik is located near the center of Kremnica. Nearby guests can ski in Krahule (5 km) and Skalka (12 km). In the hostel guests will find cheap accommodation, a restaurant with a rich selection of dishes, a café and a summer terrace.

The hotel can organize trainings, celebrations, business meetings and is suitable for school holidays in nature, school trips or ski tours.

Tento tzv. hotel nepochopil význam slova "retro." V ich ponímaní to znamená mať storočné matrace, neupratať izby, nepovysávať a chovať sto múch v izbe.
Komunikácia s personálom bola mizerná, pani nikdy nemala čas, takže sme nemohli získať ani predstavu o ubytovaní.
Zajednávali sme väčší počet miest pre svadobných hostí - žiadali sme teda o lepšie izby. Všetci sa sťažovali na špinu, neporiadok a staré matrace, okúpať sa neodvážili, niektorí dokonca ani neprespali a rovno odišli.
Pani nám naštvaná volala, akoto, že sme hneď ubytovanie nevyplatili, na to čas mala.. A teraz ľutujem, že som vôbec niečo vyplatila. Urazili nás, aj našich hostí.
